Best AILET Coaching in
Delhi NCR
AILET is your single gateway to NLU Delhi — a 150-question, three-section paper for roughly 120 seats. Our dedicated AILET batches across four Delhi NCR centres (plus online) are built only for the NLU Delhi paper, taught by NLU-alumni faculty, and have produced an AILET AIR 1. AILET 2027 is expected on 13 December 2026.
NLU Delhi's Own Exam
What is AILET, and Why Does It Need Separate Coaching?
AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is the entrance exam conducted by NLU Delhi for its B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. It is the only route into NLU Delhi, which does not accept CLAT scores. The paper has 150 questions across English, Current Affairs & GK, and Logical Reasoning, with ~120 seats on offer.
NLU Delhi sits outside the CLAT system — it runs its own exam, AILET, and admits students only through it. With only around 120 B.A. LL.B. seats and over 22,000 candidates in recent years, AILET is one of the most competitive law entrances in the country: a top-60–70 General-category rank, usually a score above 125 out of 150, is what a seat typically demands.
It is a mistake to treat AILET as “CLAT with a different logo.” The papers share most of their syllabus, but AILET is faster and reasoning-heavier — 150 questions in 120 minutes, with Logical Reasoning the single largest section. That changes how you train: more reasoning drills, sharper time management, and AILET-specific full-length mocks calibrated to NLU Delhi's difficulty. A recycled CLAT plan under-prepares you for exactly the section AILET weights most. That is why our AILET batches are built around the NLU Delhi paper, not adapted from CLAT.
AILET 2027 Exam Pattern at a Glance
AILET 2027 is expected on 13 December 2026 (offline, 2–4 PM). Here is the structure our coaching is built around:
| Section | Approx. questions | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Logical Reasoning | ~70 | Largest section — the deciding battleground |
| English Language | ~50 | Comprehension, grammar, vocabulary in context |
| Current Affairs & GK | ~30 | Static + dynamic GK, legal awareness |
| Total | 150 (120 min) | –0.25 negative marking; no sectional time limit |
Because Logical Reasoning alone is nearly half the paper, our AILET batches make it the centrepiece of daily practice. See the full AILET 2027 syllabus

CLAT vs AILETFAQ
AILET Coaching FAQs
Which is the best AILET coaching in Delhi NCR?+
The best AILET coaching in Delhi NCR combines a dedicated NLU Delhi-focused batch, NLU-alumni faculty, AILET-specific mock tests and verifiable results. Our programme has produced an AILET AIR 1, runs purpose-built AILET batches across 4 Delhi NCR centres plus online, and is led by an academic framework headed by an NLIU Bhopal advocate — with small batches for personal attention.
What is AILET and how is it different from CLAT?+
AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is NLU Delhi's own entrance exam — the only route into NLU Delhi, which does not accept CLAT scores. CLAT feeds the other 24 NLUs. The papers overlap ~80% in syllabus, but AILET is faster and more reasoning-heavy: 150 questions in 120 minutes, with Logical Reasoning the largest section. That difference is why AILET needs its own preparation.
When is the AILET 2027 exam?+
AILET 2027 is expected on 13 December 2026 (Sunday), in the second week of December, conducted offline by NLU Delhi from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The application form and notification are expected to open around July–August 2026 on the official NLU Delhi website. Always confirm the final date from NLU Delhi's official notification when released.
What is the AILET 2027 exam pattern?+
AILET 2027 is a 150-question, multiple-choice paper to be completed in 120 minutes, across three sections: Logical Reasoning (~70 questions), English Language (~50) and Current Affairs & GK (~30). There is negative marking of –0.25 per wrong answer and no sectional time limit, so you can attempt the sections in any order within the two hours.
How many seats are there at NLU Delhi through AILET?+
NLU Delhi offers around 120 seats in its B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme through AILET — roughly 110 for Indian nationals plus seats for foreign nationals and OCI/PIO candidates. With over 22,000 applicants in recent years, AILET is one of the most competitive law entrances in India, which is why focused, NLU Delhi-specific preparation matters.
What score or rank is needed to get into NLU Delhi?+
Based on recent AILET trends, General-category aspirants typically need a rank within the top 60–70 to secure a B.A. LL.B. seat at NLU Delhi — usually a score above roughly 125 out of 150. Cut-offs vary by year, category and difficulty, and NLU Delhi releases official category-wise cut-offs at counselling. Reserved-category cut-offs are lower.
What is the fee for AILET coaching in Delhi NCR?+
AILET coaching fees in Delhi NCR typically range from about ₹45,000 for a focused AILET batch to ₹1,50,000–₹2,25,000 for an integrated CLAT + AILET 1-year or 2-year programme; online options are usually ₹50,000–₹1,00,000. Because the integrated track covers both exams for roughly one fee, most aspirants choose it. Book a free counselling session for exact fees and scholarships.
Do you offer a dedicated AILET batch, or only combined with CLAT?+
Both. We run a dedicated AILET Special Batch built purely around NLU Delhi's 150-question paper, as well as an integrated CLAT + AILET track. The AILET batch suits aspirants whose first target is NLU Delhi; the integrated track suits the majority who want both NLU Delhi and the 24 CLAT NLUs, given the ~80% syllabus overlap.
Should I prepare for both CLAT and AILET?+
For most aspirants, yes. The syllabi overlap roughly 80%, so preparing for both keeps every NLU open — AILET is the only way into NLU Delhi, while CLAT covers the other 24 NLUs. Our integrated track prepares you for both together, with AILET-specific mocks and drills layered on top of the shared foundation. It is the most efficient route for the majority.
When should I start AILET 2027 preparation?+
For AILET 2027 (expected 13 December 2026), starting 12–16 months ahead is ideal. Class 11 students suit a 2-year integrated foundation; Class 12 students suit a 1-year track; and droppers should join immediately after results on an accelerated plan. Because AILET is reasoning-heavy, starting early lets you build Logical Reasoning speed steadily rather than cramming it.
Do you have an AILET dropper batch?+
Yes. We run a dedicated AILET dropper/repeater batch for aspirants reattempting for NLU Delhi, on an accelerated, mock-heavy schedule. It focuses on AILET-specific full-length mocks, detailed error analysis and 1-on-1 mentorship that diagnoses exactly why the previous attempt fell short — particularly in Logical Reasoning, where AILET ranks are most often won or lost.
Is online AILET coaching available?+
Yes. Our online live AILET programme delivers the same NLU-alumni faculty, AILET-specific material and full-length AILET mocks as our classroom batches, through live interactive classes with recorded backups and a performance dashboard. It is designed for aspirants outside Delhi NCR or those balancing school, at a more accessible fee than the classroom programme.
Where are your AILET coaching centres in Delhi NCR?+
We offer AILET coaching at four Delhi NCR centres: Hauz Khas (South Delhi), GTB Nagar (North Delhi), Noida (Sector 62) and Gurugram (Sector 14, Old DLF Colony). All four run the identical dedicated AILET programme, faculty standard, material and mock schedule, plus a fully live online option for aspirants who cannot attend in person.
Is AILET tougher than CLAT?+
In one sense, yes — AILET offers only ~120 NLU Delhi seats versus thousands across the CLAT NLUs, so the competition for a seat is sharper. The paper is also faster (150 questions in 120 minutes) and more reasoning-heavy. The syllabus is similar to CLAT, but the higher cut-off and tighter timing make focused AILET-specific practice important.
What is the AILET 2027 eligibility?+
To appear for AILET 2027 (B.A. LL.B.), candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) with a minimum of 45% marks for General/OBC/PwD and 40% for SC/ST categories. There is no upper age limit. Students appearing for Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible. Always confirm the exact criteria from NLU Delhi's official AILET 2027 notification.
What is the AILET application fee and how do I apply?+
The AILET application fee has recently been around ₹3,500 for General/OBC/NRI candidates and ₹1,500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates, paid online on the NLU Delhi website when the AILET 2027 application form opens (expected July–August 2026). Our counselling desk can guide enrolled students through the application and document process. Confirm the exact fee from the official notification.
How many mock tests are included in your AILET programme?+
Our AILET programmes include a full series of AILET-specific full-length mocks calibrated to NLU Delhi's 150-question pattern and pace, plus sectional and Logical-Reasoning-focused tests. After each mock you receive rank, percentile and section-wise gap analysis. Because AILET's timing is tighter than CLAT, we emphasise exam-condition mock practice to build speed and accuracy together.
Does the GK section in AILET need separate preparation?+
Yes. AILET's Current Affairs & GK section (~30 questions) rewards consistent, dated reading of static and dynamic GK plus legal awareness. We run a weekly current-affairs and legal-GK pipeline through to exam day, so you build this steadily rather than cramming. While smaller than Logical Reasoning, GK is high-yield because the questions are quick to answer when you have read consistently.
Can students outside Delhi NCR prepare for AILET with you?+
Yes. Our online live AILET programme is built for aspirants anywhere in India — you get the same NLU-alumni faculty, AILET-specific material and full mock series as our Delhi NCR classrooms, delivered live with recorded backups. Many NLU Delhi aspirants from outside the NCR prepare with us online and travel to Delhi only for the exam itself.
Is AILET coaching worth it, or can I self-study for NLU Delhi?+
Self-study can work for highly disciplined aspirants, but NLU Delhi's ~120-seat competition leaves little margin, and AILET's reasoning-heavy, fast paper rewards trained technique and exam-condition mocks. Coaching gives structured Logical Reasoning practice, AILET-calibrated mocks with rank feedback, and a current-affairs pipeline — the exact things that separate a top-70 rank from a near-miss. For most, focused coaching is worth it.
How do I book a free AILET demo class?+
